Guide · Certified translations
Which certificates and translations do I need to submit to WES?
For World Education Services, translations must match official qualification evidence. Your individual required-document list is the starting point for the assignment.

The short answer
Check your WES account to see whether your qualification requires translation. Where it does, WES calls for complete, legible professional translations rather than self-prepared or abridged versions. Requirements for sending official academic records and uploading translations must be followed separately.
Use your individual WES checklist
Record the assessment destination, qualification and requirements shown in your account. Do not use an assumed standard list from another country or a different WES report.
WES translation guidance expressly points to your required documents. Establish the target language before commissioning an additional version simply because the qualification is foreign.

Match the translation to official records
Provide the official record versions being used for assessment. A shortened portal printout or self-assembled grade list can differ from the document actually submitted.
Check subjects, grades, names and page order as one matched set. Translation renders the existing information in another language; it assigns no new grade and decides no equivalence.
Plan institution delivery and uploads separately
WES explains that translations can be uploaded through the account without a sealed envelope. That does not waive the separate delivery requirements for official academic evidence.
Mark which records must come from the institution and which you supply yourself. Check final versions before uploading and keep drafts outside the submission folder.

More questions
Does WES translate my records?
The linked WES guide describes translations as records you obtain separately. Check the requirement in your account.
Does the translation replace the academic record?
No. Provide the original-language evidence and translation according to their separate WES instructions.
Can I convert grades into another system myself?
Have the existing information translated faithfully. Assessment belongs to the chosen evaluation procedure.
