Nüfus Kayıt Örneği, Formül A and B: what needs translating?
Turkish civil records with similar descriptions do not contain identical information. Identifying the document type is the first step towards the right translation.

The short answer
A Nüfus Kayıt Örneği is a population-register extract. Formül A is an international birth certificate; Formül B is an international marriage certificate. Check translation requirements for the exact document and recipient. An international certificate does not automatically replace an expressly requested full register extract.
Identify the record from its heading
Record the full Turkish document name in your inventory. Retain the authority’s wording and include a legible first page with your enquiry if identification is uncertain.
The German mission in Türkiye lists Formül A and B certificates and detailed Nüfus extracts as distinct records. Your actual procedure’s checklist determines which are needed.

Include remarks and identify the person concerned
Official remarks under “Düşünceler” can matter in a detailed extract. In the cited spouse-reunification procedure, the mission requests complete remarks and a translation of the extract.
Check whose record the extract covers and include every available page. A cropped lower page area may omit the very entries addressed by a request for clarification.

Separate multilingual format from authentication
Ask explicitly whether the international certificate you hold is accepted without another translation. The label “international” does not settle every question about a register extract, additional statement or different use.
Do not automatically apply rules for public documents circulating within the EU to Turkish records. Separately clarify any authentication requirement and include the answer with your translation enquiry.

Your next steps
Record the document title and person concerned.
Compare it with the recipient’s actual checklist.
Provide legible pages and remarks fields.
Clarify translation and authentication separately.
More questions
Is Formül B the same evidence as a Nüfus extract?
No. Match the different document types separately to the items on your checklist.
What if a remarks field is missing?
Show the actual version to the issuing or receiving authority and ask whether another extract is required.
Should I rewrite names in German myself?
Supply existing official spellings and passport details. Do not independently alter the source file.
